Crochet For Novices Part 1 - April 25 (10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)

Important Note: Part 1 and Part 2 are included in your class fee. You will automatically be enrolled in Part 2 the following week.
Part 1: A perfect class to start a lifetime love of crochet! If you’ve been trying to get the hang of crochet but YouTube isn’t quite getting you there, or you’ve never tried it, we’ll cover the two basic stitches: chaining and single crochet. You’ll learn about the different weights and fibers of yarn and their corresponding crochet hook. It sounds corny, but you’ll be hooked by the end of the hour!
Part 2: Now that you have mastered the basic chain and single crochet stitch, you’re ready to work the other three important crochet stitches you’ll need for your new addiction! We’ll start with chaining the foundation for a simple swatch, then work the single, half-double and double crochet stitches. By the end of the class, you’ll be able to understand a very simple crochet pattern to make an item.

Saturday, May 2 ( 10:30 a.m. - 11:30 a.m.)
Skill level: Novice/Beginner with no experience
Materials used: Crochet hook and yarn (Included in course fee)
