Learning To Read Crochet Charts and Patterns, April 12 (1:30 p.m. - 3:30 p.m.)

$60.00

Most beginners follow YouTube instructions and then use written patterns for more complex projects, this class will help you with the transition.

Reading crochet charts is a helpful skill to know when you are following a crochet pattern. A chart is like a blueprint for the pattern and can give you visual help with the written instructions.

It can feel intimidating to learn, but it’s not as difficult as it might seem. This class walks you through the basic aspects of reading crochet charts and written patterns.

You will learn crochet abbreviations and symbol keys, and apply them to learn 4 new stitch patterns. Bring your favorite 5mm hook, plenty of stitch markers and soon you will be able to read and follow crochet charts.

Materials used: Cascade Anchor Bay yarn will be included in the cost of this class. You will use a US H (5mm) crochet hook and stitch markers. You are welcome to bring your own crochet hook and stitch markers, however we will have them for purchase if needed.

Skill level needed: A knowledge of basic crochet stitches, crocheting into a starting chain is required. This class doesn't teach you how to crochet, but to expand your knowledge so you can move on to more complex and challenging projects.

Refund Policy: We ask that you please reschedule or cancel at least 2 days before the beginning of your appointment. Your payment is refundable up to 48 hours before the class starts. If your class is cancelled, your payment can be refunded or applied to another class period.
