Have you heard of German Short Rows but they have seemed too daunting to start online? We have the class that now! Short rows are great for adding shaping to sweaters, socks, shawls, or to create a specific design to a knitted piece.
This class is perfect for participants who are interested in making garments similar to the Hera scarf, the butterfly papillon shawl, or the ranunculus sweater (examples shown in the second and third image). During the class, you will make a swatch with the detailed instructions of how to produce short rows on the right side and wrong side of a knitted piece.
Skill level needed: Intermediate to advanced. Must know how to knit, purl, cast on, and bind off.
Materials used: 1 skein of Ella Rae Snuggles and a US 6 (4mm) knitting needles. You are welcome to bring your own crochet hook however we will have them for purchase if needed.
Cost breakdown: The class fee is $60. The materials fee is $5 plus the Florida state taxes. The total cost of the class is $65.38
